|  |  | Aquis Exchange to List UK's First Bitcoin ETP | The Acquis Exchange has revealed in an announcement that digital asset securities provider, ETC Group, have a BTCE Bitcoin ETP that will be available to trade on its multilateral trading facilities in London and Paris on June 7. This is the first bitcoin exchange-traded product (ETP) being traded on any UK market. Transactions will take place in GBP, EUR, USD, and CHF, with clearing being carried out by the Swiss Stock Exchange. Aquis added the Bitocin ETP listing will allow the product to reach a "wider group of investors" and that it follows the ETPs listing on Deutsche Börse's XETRA platform in June last year. The BTCE Bitcoin ETP is the top performance in Europe so far this year when it comes to products giving investors exposure to BTC. ETC Group CEO Bradley Duke said: "We have seen many investors recognise the benefits of including secure crypto ETPs like BTCE in their portfolios as an effective hedge against inflation. ETC Group provides exposure to bitcoin, ether, and litecoin through our 100% physically backed cryptocurrency ETPs." Over the past week, institutional inflows surged to $74 million as investors capitalized on the recent cryptocurrency market slump. More than 63% of the funds, or $46.8 million, in that period were injected into ETH products. Outflows from Bitcoin products slowed to about $4 million last week, down from $110.9 million in the previous week. Significant inflows were notably also made to other cryptoassets, including Cardano ($5.2 million), XRP ($4.5 million), and Polkadot ($3.8 million).
